I usually enjoy your products and presentation but in this case, I’m not sure. I guess your idea of “how she did it” as you said in the video and “lots of content” referring to the mind-map are a bit different than mine. Found the case study about as vague as possible and certainly not actionable. Hopefully, the future presentations will deliver more. Just keeping it real…

Hi Michael,

I am really excited about this product. Your Automatic Income System allowed me to set up a website for the very first time on my own. The step by step videos were fantastic. It looks like this product will be equally as user friendly.

I also really like the use of someone who makes $1000 a month as a case study. I get tired of seeing the testimonials where people made $10,000 in their first month. It’s not typical or realistic or even possible for 99% of the people who buy the product. $1000 is much more believable and attainable.

It appears that, as usual, you’ve done good with this product and i can’t wait for the launch.

I don’t know anything about cash cannons but I do know how compelling video sales messages can be.

Shannons experience is compelling and sounds entirely doable.

I am going to follow this closely because I have a real estate site that gets 10,000 visitors per month and it makes ridiculously low passive income from adsense. And I say that knowing how well you do with adsense.

The site just isn’t made for adsense and I really want to add some video sales products to incease the good income from the real but very hands on service we provide now.

My opinion of internet marketers is quite low at this point. It seems they all try to lure you in with an irresistible offer to buy their “complete step-by-step” program but then once you buy it, they try to sell you something else INSTEAD of giving you exactly what they offered and promised in the first place! They are all scams.

Its a pity that these ‘cash cannons’ were not available with your product ‘11 days to list profits’-that I purchased in November 2006.
The biggest prob with that course was in putting together 9 original reports, on, -in my case weight loss. Finally launched in April 2008.
About 25 people have signed up for the free reports, but NO-ONE has signed up for the paid affiliate weight loss prog.(by Paul Crane)
So as you can imagine, I am pretty disilusioned with all the hype surrounding internet marketing.

So far, my site has gotten nasty comments and no sales. i have another affiliate website that has a targeted traffic campaign and gets good hits but no one wants to buy. i am working on a niche website but so far it is not running. i am really frustrated so far and my money is about gone as i was downsized from my company in March 2008. i started out without knowing anything about all this so it has really stressed my learning curve. Is this really the answer to my quest?

Paul - yes times move on. The product you’re talking about was put out quite a while ago which in Internet terms means *AGES* ago!

Mark - sorry I’m so prolific! I am constantly trying to improve my products and I stand by all of them. It’s just that my brain never stops whirring and I think of new thinks to make the whole process of bringing in cash online even easier.

Jenna - you need to download the PDF Transcript of the Shannon Case Study - you’ll find the info you want in there.

Hugo - Adsense has died down for most people the trouble with it is you need TONS of content and traffic. Whereas with a Cash Cannon you can make more money with ONE web page and *very few* visitors.

Hi Michael,

I am afraid I am like the other James up a few remarks. I have been off work now for almost 3 years due to an accident at work and have been forced to work from the computer. I love the work at home aspect but I have to admit, I may have gotten into a bunch of “information overload” as I have just about purchased every “make money” product out there. I have made a couple of hundred here and there but nothing to the $4,000.00 spent to date. Thank god for Workers Compensation or I would be on the street.

I love hearing stories such as this one but get a bit frustrated when we are not told the niche. I will be happy to tell you mine if I was making that much a month. I am pretty sure that even if a few more got into it, my profits would not go down. Why do we have all these great stories but folks paranoid to tell us what they make there money doing. Maybe there are moms out there that are working from home on other products that may by hers. Just a thought. But great story anyway.

Guess I am just a bit of a non-believer as I really have followed the rules and still…zilch, nada…nothing!

Interesting! I have followed your videos and products for quite a while but never before purchased anything from you. This one really caught my attention though.

Regarding the Adsense comments…adsense is still alive and well however as Michael stated you do need to add more content to your site than a simple one page website. Takes a little more time and adsense is no magic pill but IT DOES WORK when done right! That I do know.

Still…my curiosity is up with these Cash Cannons. I’m hoping they’re as good as they sound. I’m always looking to branch out into other niches and markets and can’t wait to see what this is all about.

So, basically I am trying to understand the Cash Cannon program is really, a video sales page with bulleted points or (our chosen “golden tread”, trigger points) and basically followed by our link to our Affiliate products website? If this is the case, how do we go about capturing names and emails, before getting visitors to click on our Affiliate link and being sent to the Affiliate’s website?

Mark - the Swiss Student case study will be coming in the next few days.

Kenny - subliminal messaging? Not really - just proven psychological triggers that make people buy. They don’t make people buy against their will - just if there are interested in the offer (which they must be to land on the page in the first place right?).

Tred - this is not mlm or cold-calling. It’s using the Cash Cannons (online video salesletters) that make people buy. I’ve been testing and tweaking these for years and am going to share with you some of the triggers that make people buy.

Have just uploaded my “Social Traffic Explosion” overnight and haven’t even checked if it works when I saw your Cash Cannon email. You don’t let that Scottish grass grow under your feet!

On the one hand I could complain there is just too much, but I figure better too much than too little. The good news is that I have gotten lots of firsts with you - my own sites and my own blog (which I have terrible trouble keeping refreshed, but I guess I’m getting there). This sounds great Michael, but after I bought your Start Your Profits Today product, I just couldn’t get started because I couldn’t find a product/idea/niche. (No criticism of your product by the way - just a statement of my inability to find the Big Idea). I have almost given up. Also, looking at this, there would be a cost for buying the video. Or have I got this wrong again? I have purchased ‘11 Days to List Profits’ and also ‘Automatic Income System’…Yes, you have helped me to build a list better and yes, there is a lot of info for Automatic Income, but I just wish I could turn all this knowledge into some profits, which still has eluded me. Ebooks being the intellectual property of someone else could only be resold if you purchase the resell right or Master resell right in order to avoid infringing on the copyright of the owner of the work. Resell right is the permission granted you when you purchase the Ebooks to resell them. While the master resells right is the additional permission to be able to grant the resell the right. It is obvious that this is a quick way of getting materials to sell.

I’d like to comment on the note left on Sept. 11 by Eleanor, beginning, “I am one of your affiliates who really need a product to get going here.”
Eleanor says she’s been struggling to make money and needs to know what to promote. When I clicked on Eleanor’s name I was taken to an article on scrapbooking for teens. In the author’s box for that article, Eleanor identifies herself as an RN–a registered nurse.

I can only wonder why someone with a lifetime of valuable medical experience would be doing anything other than focusing on health care.

Do you know that 98% of all women polled reported that they turn to the internet for medical advice? Those women would welcome advice and direction from a registered nurse!

I suspect that if Eleanor would just explore the millions of health-care products that pay affiliate commissions, find something she could wholeheartedly endorse based on her credentials and put up her “cash cannon,” she’d discover she not only has a “cash cow,” but also a purpose for being online that has far more depth and meaning for her than struggling to sell scrap booking supplies.

Hi Michael,

I’ve been a list member of your products for some time and your Golden Thread product has my curiousity again.

Traffic and SEO are always a major topic of discussion. Will your step by step course address this at all? There is a lot of information on this subject but it’s also something most internet marketers are lacking in understanding. That would include me.

I’m looking forward to more information about your key points in cash cannons and your Golden Thread product.

Will this clearly be an action step - start to finish creation product?

I have been doing as much as I can as money come in. I am currently being mentored by Loral Langemeier. This has really helped with my mental attitude.

I have a blog that I hadn’t touched for months, but I noticed that I am making revenue from the adsense on this blog. There is no product attached to this site as yet. Will the Cash Cannon help bring in more revenue?

1. Should we need to shoot own video presentation for each affiliate product which we will promote for the method?

2. If it is just one page site, incoming traffic is very important. Link building can take lot of work(money or time or both). How your golden thread method with one page can overcome the difficult?

Dear Michael,
Great to see a good product for newbies to get started with. I tried many other products but learning curve is huge. We newbies need some encouragement, ie get something simple and easy going, then move up to more complicated websites/business plans. Got stuck buying “guru” products and still nothing!

Please make it A>B>C kind of step by step.
Mindmaps are really small, hard to read. Any chance to make them bigger, like over 1 pg?

Looks amazing and I am sure it’s working right now for a lot of people. The Thing I always wonder though is will it stil work when the method is public? It seems that with every one of these money making ideas, there is a certain process.
1) Someone comes up with original twist/idea, makes a lot of money.
2) That someone teaches a select group of people how they can do it as well and charges them a lot of money.
3) Product is mass supplied to the public with testimonials of the people who were exclusively trained. Everyone starts using it and it becomes ineffective.

It is very successful when a select group of people know about it and use it, but then it becomes dilluted and ineffective once released to the market.

You suppose this one will last Michael?

Hi it’s nice to talk to another Canadian! I am from Ontario.

The update of the audio was called…”Anatomy of a Cash Cannon”. Basically, a Cash Cannon is a video sales letter that sells something using triggers that get people to buy from you. These can be your own products or affiliate products. They are one page in length. The audio mentioned “Money Gysers”. There are four of these “Gysers”, Promotions, Products, Prospect, Partners. Promotions deals with affiliate products. Products are your own products. Prospects dealt with you building your list. Partners dealt with you getting JV (joint venture) partners.

The next part deals with “How to actually create a cash cannon”. There are 3 components. The first one is you need to have a presentation. This is basically a power point presentation that gives information to the visitor. You need to have images and have a script. Your images in your Cash Cannon would include any images of either the product, the affiliate product, the creator or author of the product, even people who have used the product, etc. The next part is the script. You need to script everything that you’re going to say in your video out. Your script should include, how you’re going to start out, start with the problem, the solution to that problem, how the solution works, etc. You need to look at which words you use, because it’s your words that make you money. You want to use words that are going to make people buy from you. You need to keep it simple. You need to be yourself, be striking, and don’t use to many words. You need to combine what you’re saying with your power point presentation. The audio brought out that less is more. You need to keep your timing to 5 to 10 minutes. You will need to keep the pace going. You should have a story to tell in your presentation. You need to be exited about what you’re saying. Don’t be bored! The audio mentioned, maybe you could ask a question right at the beginning and tell people just a short part of something, but don’t tell them the whole thing until the end. You need to address people’s pain, process, proof, and profits. You need talk about people’s pain or frustration in you’re presentation. Next you can discuss and demonstrate the process of the solution, by showing the name of the product, what it does. Demonstrate the proof of how better the benefit is. Give testimonials if you can and promote the person or author of the product. The audio mentioned that you need to have a “Golden Thread”. The “Golden Thread”, basically makes people want to buy from you.

Next, you need to record the video. Camtasia is the best software to do this. You will need a microphone and have your script handy. Have your slides going while you talk through your script. You next need to upload the video to your website. It should include a headline, some bullet points, etc.

Now, basically, this is what I got out of the updated audio. I am sure I’ve missed a lot of points though! Also, possibly, some other blog readers can clarify any points much better for you! I hope this was somewhat helpful to you!

I am quite impressed with what I have viewed so far. I’ve been looking into marketing programs for years. Have tried a few with very, very little success or none at all. That is great, but I know nothing about the internet, creating websites, advertiseing or what ezines, domains and what is takes and what the terms are to how to start up the web site, I dont even know how to make a web page. Do I have to create my own web page, not hardly, cant and dont know how, money I just spend my last 10 dollars on gas for a failed job interview. So what would I have to do if I am zero knowledge and money. When I lost my job, I now have spent a tolal of 300 dollars to try to get online work web sites and none have worked and now I am broke. I even tried Michael Matthews work at home millionair and he ended up costing a lot and I still am not makeing any money and I am not even sure what I did or if I did it correctly, I can never seem to get immediate help by email or phone. Am not really sure what a cash cannon is and I am not familiar how the internet works or how web sites or web pages work. What is a niche? What is a Cash Cannon, I even purchased a product to create a web page and web site and can not get past the first step and can not reach the so called help that is supposed to be available.

There are TWO ways to MAKE Money:
Exchange your TIME for it (work),
OR
Exchange MONEY for it !!!

EVERYONE has only 24 hours in a day and you can NEVER get any more…
However, if you spend Money and get more back than you started with… Then you can do Other (more productive) things with the time you would have spent “working”!!!
i.e. Things you enjoy, more time with family, etc.

So… it’s YOUR Choice !!!

Hi Michael,

and all you others who have written on this blog. There seem to be more of us “morons” out there who don’t know a thing about internet marketing, really. I have been “at it” since May and not got anywhere… Bought this and bought that and got frustrated again and again. I really, really believe there is a way of making money in Internet, but it seems to be a swamp… You can spend a fortune in there, and as I realised reading these comments, there are A LOT of us who come to these things in the hope of GETTING money, not spending it. Us who are really desperate to make a living or at least a few extra euros (I live in Europe). I know am not the only one in a very tricky situation (losing my house at the moment, unemployed, single parent) who is trying to get out of this misery. We need HELP, I need hand-in-hand help, to start making something out of this. I have spend hundreds of dollars in the past 5 months to buy these programs, but not got any wiser. Now I need (and a bunch of others too !) to get that back and then some ! What we need now is so CLEAR AND SIMPLE ADVISE that a 3-year-old can follow them to get started. It cannot be too simple, simple is what we need, right guys !?
This does look very interesting, hopefully it will as simple as it sounds. Looking forward to get started.

Hello Michael; THis presentation is the most thorough I’ve listened to/watched on the web. Unfortunately, I am in the moron category as far as computer knowledge goes. I’ve seen the “Even a 3 year old can do this” tag lines. what it doesn’t say is if you are over 30 , you may not “have a clue” Hello! I’m 69. One of the “old dogs”willing to learn, but needing to be led by the hand. So many $$$ spent only to be still in the same spot. Unemployed, receiving my SSI check and groveling to get ahead. At first read, I see the sum of $4,000 being used to get started. My credit cards are full of debt,I owe trying to do exactly that. These helping hands, help themselves to my money, but ask more than I can grasp. So I’m down to the line. do you see any hope for the senior citizens like me. You *can* use an autoresponder service yes, if you wish. This is not an essential item to use the Golden Thread Program though if you want to build your own list then of course it is.

I use http://www.getresponsefast.com and if you choose to use them in combination with The Golden Thread Program you’ll get all the video tutorials and guidance you need from me to get this all set up and making money for you.

Most of the stories posted here remind me of what I have been going thru. I’d like to tell everyone that when I buy a product that isn’t good I just return and get a refund. Don’t know how people can lose money if they only buy products with a guarantee and return if product is “crappy”.

Sounds promising, but of course If it is so rapidly delivered that us folks that are slower and relate better to written materials that we can analyze and absorb, then it is a question as to whether it will benefit us. When you say, “it is so easy”, I think that depends a whole lot on whether it is “information overload”, or whether it truly will help us LEARN how to do it, one simple step at a time. I definitely am interested, but I would like to learn more of the details.

Hi Michael,

If the program is complete, and will really work so that those that do work it can make $1000 plus, it will be great. Maybe more than just a few can really have some hope of income from internet efforts.

Not sure yet what to expect from a “Cash Cannon.”

You DON’T need your own product.

You DON’T need your own website.

You DON’T need a camera, webcam or to record yourself at all in any way.

You DON’T need an existing email list.

I’m not sure what to make of the above. I have
yet to receive or buy a program from anyone who did not have a website. You have many. You need them for squeeze pages and one time offers, etc. It would appear to me that all internet marketers need a web presence, even those that only promote affiliate programs.

Also, how will people make money without someone to sell to. A list is the main way that people get someone to see their offers.
Unless they happen to have a site that is high
in the search engines.

What will be the method that will insure that
I get traffic to the “Cash Cannons?”

Hi Michael! Wow! Sounds just like what I need. I’ve been trying to figure out how to do something like this and it all seems so complicated. Listened to your entire audio and you do a wonderful job of breaking the steps down and simplifying the process. Hoping (as we all seem to be) that price will be affordable. Your presentation so far is intriguing. Obviously you are using your techniques successfully as you have quite a number of folks chomping at the bit. I have to say that I am torn between hope and frustration: hoping it is doable and within my budget and frustrated because I have already spent way too much money on things that just didn’t pan out. I just finished listening to the case study audio. Very interesting and informative! Thanks! This gives hope that a normal person can actually make a decent income.

The second part of the audio, about the Anatomy of a Cash Cannon, is very well done. I took extensive notes!

I hope you will do some videos in the future that show the technical details of the last two components.

It would be great to see an actual demo video of how to create a slide presentation and use the microphone to speak the audio portion to complete the presentation.

What I would need the most is a video to show how you put these elements together on a web page, and then how to upload it all.

Hi, I have been on the internet for several years, and I have made some money with an online store and also ebay, nothing phenominal, but not terrible either.

Almost pays for my investments(What I call my education). But I can’t really afford more of that kind of education if you know what I mean.

So often programs seem to be missing one key element or another needed to make it really work. Or parts of the information just are not clear enough and I get stuck.

A lot of us need a little hand holding to get that first success under our belt and gain some confidence.

Most of us would gladly commit to paying more for “results” than for promises of possibilities (empty promises).

I do understand some people make a purchase, look at it and then don’t take action, I’ve done this too! Got the program - wasn’t what I thought it would be and set it aside in disapointment.

Heck if someone taught me something I could reproduce on my own and use over and over again, I would share 50% of the first one with them, even let them name the deal, just make it win-win.

Anyways, my two cents - I’m intersted!

It’s amazing how Shannon was able to generate that much income considering the limited “resources” she had. I myself is struggling to make money in the net and I looked into lots of “guru” showing their “secret” way of earning huge income but they show data from 2005 or ‘06 & I think they are outdated and may not be applicable today because this market is dynamic. PLease help with your method on how to earn in the net just like Shannon. Thank you

|I might be the most dum person that ever gets around here…but I still can’t figure out what is a cash cannon?? what are you trying to sell here actually?

Where and when can I get a “cash cannon” how is it made and how much does it cost per month???
So far i have looked at video’s and written blog entries and a mind map of the young women stating her claims, which is fine..
However i don’t see any instructions on how to get this automated, i am not sure of the product i hope i am not ignorant, am i missing the boat???

I was actually introduced to most of these techniques, several months ago. However, I also see the value in your perspectives and the way you tweak the techniques.

Please ignore the people who have written negative posts about your not giving enough FREE “stuff.” They obviously don’t understand that this is a business for you, just as it will be a business for THEM and you CANNOT give away EVERYTHING!!!

The MidMap is very good description about how to develop internet biz even only a website,I think it worths to study deeply.

It is always great to hear about success stories and you put a real (I am anybody and I did it) feel to it. Your audio revealed more than I thought it would. Wow! Exciting! A supper mapping of the minds. Seems you have all the pieces of the puzzle!!
Can’t wait to learn more and find out how I can participate with the Cash Cannons and The Golden Threat too.

I have tried a program for consumable products with an auto responder. And made very little. All the components just weren’t in place.

My newer adventure occurred earlier this year. I became even more driven due to recent events, to pursue the successful adventure without the brick and mortar set up. I would not be able to take care of the family and too much over head especially with the medical bills.

I was in a vehicle accident end of last year and my son was rear-ended 3 times.

He is 21 and is raising his 2 yr old daughter by himself. And hopefully will get his back surgery in the upcoming months. Physical ability and income are issues.

I had thought about a website and there is tons of info and courses. This would take a long time to learn and then all the other issues of traffic and the HOW would still left to contend with.

I the last 3 weeks I have been working on the online income trying to get an online business with multiple streams to generate repeated income. SO, I am very excited to find out more!!

the video approach sounds really good - I guess the key question as with any of this is around the cost, the implementation and the run-on costs of doing this.

To be able to make a consistent $1000 dollar is a month is a step in the right direction - I’ve been trialling review sites over the last few months and cannot get these to work.

My main site is based around a niche in the property sphere and whilst I am starting to get traffic and SEO rankings, a boost to make this PASSIVE would be clearly outstanding.

HI Michael,
I’ve never bought any of your products bc’of lack of funds, which hasn’t changed except I am now retired and make even less so I’m between a stone and a wall, so to speak.

Shannon’s is a great success story but, does it work for everyone? She had other sites and knowledge of what to do. What if you only have a domain name (never used) and very little experience and are in a 5 figure debt from other programs many of which were MLMs, buying leads and products that never sold. I don’t have a product and wouldn’t know how to go about affiliates. I am sceptic after so many stories of internet success that are sold to people with the only purpose to make $$$$ to those who advertize the success and no one else…the recent economic crash here in the US doesn’t help.

Sure I’d be happy to make an extra $1000/mth but how much do I have to spend first and, is there any guarantee of a positive outcome…

Your Cash Cannon / Golden Thread Program looks like just the thing I have been looking/waiting for, through years of spending too much money on hyped up promises that only drain one’s bank account.

And, since my bank account is drained…. how about another payment option for your Golden Thread? How about… you don’t start the payments for 60 days, giving a person time to get their Cash Cannons producing enough income to pay for itself?

That would sure show the level of confidence you have in the program!

Or, if that is too much to hope for, how about a ramped up six month payment plan…

$200 the first month,
$300 the second month,
$400 the third month, and
$500 per month for three months.

These payments would go up each month, in keeping with the increase in income produced by your program.

What say you, Michael? Do you have the confidence in Golden Thread to offer one of these payment plans? It would sure help those of us who don’t have $800 or $2000 to spare in one lump.

Appreciate the case study of Shannon’s story: very applicable and down to earth. I can perceive that this is indeed pragmatic and anybody can do this with the right coaching and the right instruments. I can just hear the blaring of the trumpets for more success stories. I am pregnant with great expectations of the outcome of the seven cash cannons. Please do make this project affordable since I have already maxed two credit cards and my hubby will be definitely upset when he finds out about my third.

You have completely sold me on “You”. I am so impressed with how much information you have included and I totally admire your enthusiasm and presentation.
I would absolutely love to jump into this, even though I am as newbie as they come. (I have learned how to turn on the computer and do a little surfing!)
Unfortunately, at this point, I am unable to raise the funds for this course. Part of me is saying “Find the funds”, or take it out on the payment plan and hopefully I will have earned enough money in the first month to take care of the next payment, and so on.
Do you think that is too iffy? I am terribly cash-strapped right now and looking after a disabled person. I know it’s a case of how much I put into it, but keep in mind that I am very techie-challenged and know nothing about traffic. What are your thoughts on this?

Thank you. However it is not a case of not being interested, it is simply that I do not have that kind of funds to lay out. You are right about one thing I have subscribed to a number of internet marketing online and have not gained in anyway on my investment. Added to which I just started a new job after not working for some time. What would I not do to be able to grab
the opportunities you are offering! Then I would not have to continue my
time consuming job right -:)

Hi Michael,

I had no idea what a Cash Cannon was until I listen to the way you explained all the steps. I took a lot of notes, which now I have got some good ideas to put all this information to good use.

My question would be now you have your Cash Cannon how do you get traffic to your site? Does not matter how good your website is, unless you are getting traffic. This is where most people struggle is getting traffic to their website. I have done the free types of traffic, forums,traffic exchanges, safe lists and using co-reg leads.

Maybe that could be your next project

Micheal, I can see how Cash Cannons can enhance the conversion rate of any website; However, I’m still thrashing on finding a niche product that has great appeal and driving traffic to it. I have tried a number of affiliate products and even my own site to try to sell products only to find there are no suppliers in that niche. I guess I’m not ready for your product. I can’t increase sales of something I don’t have. Thanks
